INSTRUMENTAL TUITION

I offer bass and guitar tuition designed primarily for beginners through to intermediate-level musicians who are looking to build confidence, improve technique and develop a stronger understanding of music in a supportive and encouraging environment.

My approach to teaching focuses on making learning enjoyable, practical and accessible while helping students develop real-world musical skills they can apply within bands; worship teams, performances and personal practice.

Lessons can cover a wide variety of areas including:

• Fundamental technique and posture
• Rhythm and timing
• Scales and fretboard knowledge
• Playing by ear
• Chord progressions and song structure
• Tone building and gear understanding
• Practice routines and goal setting
• Creativity and musical confidence

While I do offer individual one-to-one tuition sessions, I particularly enjoy running group sessions where students can learn alongside others in a collaborative and encouraging environment. Group sessions often provide additional motivation, confidence and opportunities for musicians to grow together while also being a more affordable option.

My goal is not only to help students improve technically - but also to help them enjoy the process of learning music while building long-term confidence and consistency.
