About Rhys Waite Musician

Hi, I’m Rhys - a professional musician based in the United Kingdom.

Music has been a huge part of my life for many years and has shaped both my personal and professional journey. I’m primarily a bassist, though I also play both the electric and acoustic guitar. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to study at two music colleges- gaining valuable qualifications, practical experience and a deeper understanding of the music industry.

Throughout my career I’ve worked across a wide range of musical environments including live performance; songwriting, recording, live sound and music production. I’ve performed in everything from original projects and professional function bands to cover bands and studio collaborations, working alongside a variety of artists in both live and studio settings.

Alongside performing and recording - I’m passionate about helping musicians, artists and creators through practical, high-quality resources and services designed to support their musical journey. I currently create bass and guitar presets (primarily bass) for Quad Cortex and Helix users alongside tone resources such as impulse responses, captures and downloadable learning materials.

I also offer a custom 'Request a Preset' service, allowing musicians to receive personalised tones tailored specifically to their setup, sound and playing style.

In addition to products, I also provide a range of professional music and creative services. This includes session playing and recording both remotely and in person, music production services such as mixing, mastering and song arrangement as well as instrumental tuition and mentoring for musicians looking to grow in confidence, creativity and technique.

I’m also available for collaborations including product reviews; sponsored content, YouTube and podcast features and endorsement opportunities. Alongside music-related work, I also offer creative and design services including logo design and artwork creation.

Most importantly, my Christian faith is central to who I am and deeply influences the work I do. One of my greatest joys is serving and playing within worship teams and environments. Music for me is not only a profession but also a way to connect, encourage and serve others.
